After a lot of consideration, we have decided we shall no longer be operating our waiting list in advance of a pregnancy being confirmed.

We have come to this decision because people either do not get back to us when we message them to let them know we have a puppy available, or they have bought a puppy elsewhere and not had the courtesy to let us know.

As a breeder, it is a very time-consuming process to go through our waiting lists, and frustrating to then be either ignored, or be told that a potential owner has gone elsewhere for a puppy. Many of us are solely responsible for caring for our dogs, and do not have people to cover the admin side like many other businesses do. As breeders we often operate on minimal sleep when we have litters due and in the early days following birth, especially if mum or pups require additional support. In addition, we are still required to care for our other dogs.

Therefore, going forward, if you would like a puppy from us, we invite you to complete one of our Puppy Consideration Forms once we have announced that we have a litter due. Once the puppies have arrived safely, we will contact you to arrange a telephone call to discuss the next steps.

 

Potential owners will be contacted in order of the date the application was received.
